About Tier Cards
Celebrating the most amazing things in our world
What Are Tier Cards?
Tier Cards is a premium, limited edition card game from the UK. Each deck features the 50 best examples of a subject, such as the world’s best road cars, with professional photography and eight researched statistics on every card. Decks are printed on casino-grade, laminated card stock with bronze gilt edges and produced in limited, numbered runs of 500.
What We Do
Our world - both the one we inherited and the one we have made - contains natural and man-made creations that are amazing.
This planet, the abundant life that inhabits it and the remarkable products of its greatest creation (us!) are - as far as we know - the greatest story the universe has ever told.
Tier Cards is a premium collectible card game that celebrates the amazing things in our world. Each deck features the 50 best in its category from the world's most extraordinary road cars to nature's most fascinating creatures.
This isn't just another card game. Every aspect has been elevated: the photography is professional and striking, the statistics are rigorously accurate, the physical cards feel weighty and valuable in your hand. Each deck is a curated collection that rewards curiosity and sparks wonder.
Why We Exist
In a world of mass-produced games, attention sinks and disposable entertainment, we wanted to make something more thoughtful and permanent. Something that combines the tactile pleasure of holding beautifully crafted cards with the intellectual satisfaction of learning about remarkable subjects.
Tier Cards exists to celebrate these amazing things in our world with quality and wonder in a form that inspires learning and aspiration. We don't talk down to our audience - whether you are 8 or 80, encountering terms like "torque", "homologation" or "LD50" is intentional - it is done to encourage people to learn more about these amazing subjects.
What Makes Us Different
Curated Excellence
"The 50 Best" is a bold statement and it's one we take seriously. Every choice on every subject in every deck is meticulously researched, defined, debated over and justified.
Professional Photography
We are immensely fortunate to work with some of the most talented photographers in each subject area. Every photo is there to do justice to its remarkable subject matter. Tier Cards are the best things shot by the best photographers.
Rigorously Accurate
We spend months researching, validating and justifying every statistic and fact that appears in each deck. Even the choices of which statistics to include involves considerable research and debate.
Premium Quality
We spare no expense in achieving the level of quality that befits the amazing things that inspire us. The finest casino-grade card stock, butter smooth laminate coating, gilt edging in a high quality box. Each deck is a numbered, limited edition.
Our Approach
Every Tier Cards collection begins with a simple question: what are the 50 best...? The answer requires deep research, debate and careful (and sometimes painful!) curation. We consider everything from performance, innovation, design, cultural impact, rarity, potency, magnitude, speed, size... what would you use to define the best on a given subject?
We agonise over this question for months.
The result is a collection of 50 examples. No more, no less. Each measured in 8 ways that showcase the absolute best in the subject.
Once our subjects are selected, we work with some of the finest professional photographers in the world to capture them in a way that showcases what makes them so amazing.
The result is a collection that rewards casual gaming, in-depth learning and serious collecting. Something that looks beautiful on your shelf and feels amazing in your hands.
A collection that befits the most amazing things in our world.
Limited Editions
Each Tier Cards deck is produced in a limited, numbered run. When they're gone, they're gone. Every box is a unique item which contains a unique code that allows you to claim the digital version of that deck.
Early adopters receive lower numbers. Future releases may revisit categories with updated subjects and fresh photography. But each edition stands alone as a snapshot of excellence at that moment in time.
