How to Play TIER CARDS

TIER CARDS can be played in multiple ways, from classic Top Trumps-style gameplay to creative variations you design yourself. Here’s everything you need to know to get started.

Basic Gameplay

The classic way to play TIER CARDS follows the traditional Top Trumps format:

Setup

1. Shuffle the deck thoroughly
2. Deal all cards face down evenly between players
3. Players hold their cards in a face-down stack

Playing

1. The starting player looks at the top card of their stack
2. They choose one statistic to compare (e.g. “Top Speed: 261 mph”)
3. All players reveal their top cards
4. The player with the highest value for that statistic wins all the cards played
5. Winner takes all cards and places them at the bottom of their stack
6. Winner starts the next round

Winning

The game continues until one player has won all the cards. Games can take 15-30 minutes depending on luck and strategy.

Strategy Tips

• Know Your Deck: Familiarity with the cards gives you an advantage in choosing strong statistics
• Play the Percentages: Choose stats where your card is likely to be strong
• Remember What’s Been Played: Keep track of which powerful cards have already appeared
• Mixed Strategies: Sometimes an unexpected stat choice can catch opponents off guard

Alternative Game Modes

Speed Rounds

Set a timer for 10 minutes. Whoever has the most cards when time expires wins.

Stat Master

Players can only use each statistic once per game, forcing more strategic thinking.

Team Play

For 4+ players, form teams of two. Teammates sit opposite each other and combine their winnings.

Educational Mode

After each round, the winner must share an interesting fact about their card’s subject before claiming the cards.
